Scholastic Book Fair Site: This site will not only allow students and parents to preview the items that will be coming to the MCS Book Fair on November 4th but will also allow them to shop online for books and other items. Check it out.
 
Our School now has a subscription to TumbleBooks.com, an educational website containing a vast online library for young readers. The books are presented with lively, engaging animation and the option of a read-aloud feature. Although most of the library is designed to meet the needs of k-4 readers, there are 77 titles for students in grades 5-8. We hope that this resource will create a new, fun way for your child to read anytime anywhere s/he has internet access. Just click on the link below. EducationCity is an award-winning online teaching and learning resource mapped to our state and common core standards. The site's interactive educational activities capture the attention of young learners with bright colors, catchy music and a lovable cast of characters - inspiring a lifelong love of learning. This resources is best suited for students in grades k-5. The site serves as bot a tutorial and assessment tool. Your child should know his/her username and password. Study Island is similar to Educaton City, but it has been around for much longer. It also features games that studnets can play after they have completed units of study. Students as young as 3rd grade can use Study Island, but its style and format targets upper elementary and middle school students. Your child should know his/her username and password.
